    I was stricken with deep fear when I saw the countdown ticker...after 21 (yes..21. Honest. really. How sick is that?!) attempts at my S'p'ooza socks I'm finally working with a yarn that may do the trick.

    Except that I'm not conscious yet, I can't find size 1 dpns and I can't see clearly enough to knit. Eleven days. yikes.

    I'm in Michigan again...thanks for all the cheery notes while I was gone. You're appreciated!

    lol sorry 'bout dat...i was trying to skeer myself not you ;o) i may try and find a different one though that shows the time in another fashion... (as in "you have x days, y minutes, and z seconds before you need to get your socks to the post office" ;o)

    glad you made it home safely, and hope it's as gorgeous up there as it is here today :o)

    Oh, me too....
    I've just discovered that I have to rip sock 1 back to the gusset to decrease it more because I've somehow been working it for the wrong sized feet.

    I thought I was going to be starting sock number 2 by now.

    (sigh)
